Black Exposure Live 4th August 2012 This really was an Expo! So much on display and so much to watch! I went down to Birmingham to enjoy the Black Exposure Live Event 2012 on Saturday 4th of August! It was an early start to catch a train down from London to arrive well before 11am! I actually met up with Charlene of the GoodyBoxUK on the train trip into Birmingham. This was a celebration of Jamaican Culture (Independence Day) and the Olympics. Surprisingly, this event started off a little flat as the stalls were not set up and there wasn't a set floor plan for the vendors coming in early. Click "Read More" for more pictures and rest of the post. As soon as the set up was sorted, we sat back and watched the crowd stream gently in. The MC engaged the crowd quite well. She also invited the vendors to come and advertise their stalls on the stage in between entertaining acts. There were a few 'hiccups' during the event - a few workshops could not be accommodated by the venue's facilities. Fortunately, the head wrap workshop was back on a bit later on. There were a lot of different vendors present including Paks cosmetics. See below for more pictures. Misha B delivered with a very energetic performance, which was preceded by some equally talented young ladies and gentlemen on the stage. The Expo was done shortly after Misha B was done.
Overall, this was an okay event but there were a few too many stumbling blocks that needed more sorting on the day.
