What is your hair type? 3c,4c

What made you decide to transition and why long-term?
I decided to transition because I didn't want to get relaxers all my life and I wanted to make a change, which is go natural. Long-term because I don't want to cut my hair again.

I plan on transitioning until sometime in 2011

Weave

What are your top three hair products and why?
ORS hair lotion and Africa's Best Herbal Oil

Any techniques you’ve found invaluable during your transition? Do share!
Moisturizing and just keeping my hair manageable.

How did/are your family/friends reacting to your transitioning?
They didn't believe, they thought I was going to change my mind because I like to change my mind about my hair and try different things.

Any words or wisdom for ladies, who are currently transitioning or thinking of taking that step?
Don't be afraid to take the journey. Yes, you might go through ups and downs but it is so worth it, embrace your natural hair.
