On here, I share my transition to natural hair, my natural hair journey and my fitness journey. I've been on my healthy hair journey since July 2008. I decided to grow out my natural hair in November 2009. My hair is thriving - currently Hip length. I transitioned for 2 years and 8 months! Join me on this journey to discover just how long my hair will grow!
I started running in 2009! I ran a 5K charity race and promptly stopped running for a year after! Luckily, I did go back to running and have since run a couple of 10K races (the first was a horrible lesson from not training for it!), half-marathons and the London Marathon. I will be sharing my training tips, tricks, triumphs and pitfalls on here to inspire more Natural Runners! Oh, and did I mention I started working out to help my hair grow faster? lol!
On my blog, I will be posting product reviews, everyday haircare tips and running journey discoveries. Do feel free to share your experiences. I'm currently based in the UK, so I put a new spin on haircare 'finds'! I also attend haircare meetups and events where I give talks so we can learn together.
My books are now in print: "8 Weeks to Longer Hair!" A hands-on guidebook for your hair journey. Links to buy them below!

"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me!"
A prayer for the year ahead:
" Lord Jesus, I commit my hair growth into Your hands. With You, all things are possible. Lord, please make my hair my Crowning Glory and allow me to develop even better haircare techniques and to give ALL the glory to You. In Your mighty name, I pray. Amen."

DISCLAIMER: This has to be said. These are techniques and products that I use, which work for me. They may not work for you. Each head of hair is different. I am not advocating one product above another or being paid for any product reviews I do. I am sharing my honest opinion. I am sharing my journey to hopefully inspire and motivate others who are waking up to the truth that " Black women CAN grow long hair!"
