I had a dream!

I had a dream!

From tumblr
Mid-week, I had a dream about my hair. What happened, you ask. Well, my parents and I were watching a film. At the end, I got the urge to cut the relaxed hair off the back of my hair (nape section). I just went for it, wet hair and everthing.
Then I twirled the hair, cute ringlets! And when I twisted, they were juicy and plump!

My family loved it. They were oohing and aahing! Even my father admired the hair texture and thickness!

Needless to say, dream-me and real-me (awake) are not the same people. My hair has not reached that stage yet for mee. A couple of months ago, I had a dream where I did a length check randomly in front of my mother and both our jaws dropped when my hair touched my hip in front! At the back, it was tailbone length! It was so springy and soft! I love the shrinkage factor!

Now how can I reconcile both dreams? Afterall, my hair journey was firstly a hair growth journey and then a transition to natural. I guess, once I reach a lovely length, I can start trimming to maintain. Besides, I can always start by only ridding myself of the bone-straight ends (few strays here and there) then enjoying the kinks!

Dreams, dreams, dreams. Have you had a hair journey dream yet?
