Dreaming of Long Hair! Last night, I slept pretty poorly! My neck was hurting and I woke up to the smallest interruptions: the lamp I forgot to turn off, the early morning summer Sun in my eyes, the movements of other humans in the house (my brother and mum)! I was so disgruntled when I finally got out of bed that I almost forgot about my lovely dream in the middle of it all! ********* In the dream, my mother asked me how long my hair was, so I reached up and grabbed the tiniest section from the back of my bun to show her. I stretched it and it was reaching my waist in front.
She still looked doubtful so I grabbed another bigger section next to it and....low and behold, it extended further down to my hip in front! I was as surprised as she was in the dream! Then I measured against my back and it was Tail-bone length! Yay! Ok, the reason I am blogging about this is that I know we all tend to have these dreams at the beginning of our healthy hair journeys! It's our subconscious telling us it too believes that we can reach those length goals! Or whatever! All I know for sure is, the last time I had that dream in July 2008, I saw APL hair in that dream! Needless to say, the July dream came true a few months later. There's been no looking back since! Now it is Waist length in the longest layers and I am seeing Tail bone length hair in my dreams. I can't wait to enter this new phase of my journey to super-long (and natural!) hair! So tell me ladies, have you had your long hair dream yet? (You can post your replies here on the blog or in the forum!)
