I used this a few times during the week.
First I tried it on my hair whilst doing a few twists in the front (giving my edges a rest from bunning). WOW! The shine was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! Seriously, I compared it to the shea butter coconut oil mixture I ha applied on one twist. It was blinging.
Did the moisture last, yes, at least 1 day. I could probably get away with moisturizing the twists every other day or even every 3 days (usually I moisturize twice a day).
Next, I tried it with my go-to style, THE BUN! Well, not so great. The body of the bun lost the moisture pretty quickly (I'll mention that it usually does this unless something is UBER-moisturizing). Then the ends suffered the same fate. I guess, since the hairs weren't not compacted (in a twist of braid) but more spread out, I couldn't keep the moisture!! (Maybe?!)
So, I stuck to the twists. Using it when installing the twists and when re-mositurizing after a day or two worked well. However, I can't say I like the all the ingredients (Mineral Oil - is that really necessary?) so that may limit my free use of this!
♥♥This is OK, but not indispensible. However, if you do alot of twisted and braided styles, then this may just be the thing for you!
As always, this product can be found at www.pakscosmetics.com or at your Local PAKs store (London, UK).
