Recipes | From the transitioning talk - Midlands Meetup

Recipes | Try these and let me know how you like them

Here are some recipes I shared at the Midlands Natural Hair Meetup yesterday,
Saturday 26th May 2012.
Enjoy!

Coconut Milk Treatment
1 can of Coconut Milk
4 tbsp. Honey
4 tbsp. EVOO
Mix well in a bowl. (EVOO will not fully mix)
Apply to ends of hair first, then to roots. It DRIPS!

Leave on for 30mins to 1hr under a cap.
Rinse well
Honey & EVOO
- 3 tbsp. EVOO
- 1 ½ tbsp. Honey
*place jar of honey in a cup of hot water before mixing (more runny).
Start with damp hair.
Mix in palm of hands and apply to section of hair.

Mix another batch and apply to next section!

Leave on for 30mins - 1 hr then rinse.
The “Juice”
Spray bottle
200mls Water
30 mls Aloe vera juice
1 – 2 tsp Glycerin (optional)
Mix well in a spray bottle and its ready to use!
You get the moisturized feel of S-Curl w/o cones!
—Triple Moisture Technique
—Apply watery leave-in (water or water spritz) —Apply creamy leave in (LTR leave-in or diluted conditioner – Tresemme Naturals) —
Seal with light oils (EVOO + Coconut oil) and castor oil (on the ends).
