Review:
I have owned this for over a year. In fact, the last time a used it before this weekend was last Summer (June-July 2011). Then, I was a lot earlier in my transition to natural: lots of relaxed/texlaxed hair. I was using it on damp hair and doing twisted styles or bantu knot-outs.
Last year: I found it too heavy - weighed down my hair - with not much slip. I used it in my Kimmaytube leave-in mix and it worked well...diluted with oils and aloe vera juice. It was okay - plays well with other products (cantu shea butter and CHI keratin mist) and had good ingredients.

This year, I have watched HairCrush's videos on Youtube (holler at Chime!) and I wondered why seemed so soft in her hair. I don't know why I HAD to use it this weekend when re-doing my twist but nothing else would do for me last night. I grabbed the leave-in, spritzed my hair with my moisturizing spray (water, aloe vera, rosewater and honey) and went added a finger-tip full!
A revelation!
My hair went soft, the leave-in foamed up in my wet hair (hair was dripping) and as I twisted, I realized I'd applied too much. A finger-tip full was too much! I had so much extra on my hands after twisting the section. So I used half as much....still had some extra left over! This also works well with coconut oil and once foamed up in my hair, finger detangling was a breeze!

How do I recommend using this: on wet hair! Either freshly washed or misted to dripping. Then only a finger-tip full or less per section! Youtube video coming with this review! I have already ordered another of this leave-in!

Rating:♥♥♥♥♥
Love this product now! It works well on my hair and I'm not even going to dock a point for the awkward package (once it's less than half full, you have to store it upside down to get product out!).
