Today I went to..............

Today I went to ......Kilburn High Road!

Can I say, it has been a long time!
I haven't gone searching for hair things down that end for a while. I must say, it was nice in a way, but it wasn't the same!
For one thing, I know what products I love and I'm not running out of most of them yet. The products that are new, I browse their ingredients' lists and move on! There is something nice about going from shop to shop looking at different products and shelves!

I'll admit it, I've become a snob when it comes to certain ingredients. Mineral oil is the main one! I also think twice about anything with silicones in it.

The main reason things felt so different was....I've found new places online that will deliver to me at home. And th products I really like right now are not found routinely in stores. No, I've not become a ALL-NATURAL ingredients product person! I just like Hairveda's strategically priced items that work for my hair!

What did I get, you sigh?I got 2 bottles of West Indian Castor Oil (never could find Jamaican black castor oil, and this worked well for me!) and some Infusium 23 (the blue bottle for fine/limp hair). I also got a long rat-tailed comb, which has wide teeth on the main comb bit! As a treat, I got Creme of Nature's Argan oil intensive conditioning treatment. Sadly, the later has mineral oil in it (ingredient #8) but as it was only 99p and I can use it the once and move on, I'm okay with it.....for this one use only! lol! (I lie, I gave it away in a week!)

Well, that was my Saturday!
Oh, I took out my threaded hairstyle to  reveal stretched straight hair. I have bantu knotted these for a knot-out tomorrow. i plan to re-thread (mother being the threader) tomorrow afternoon, by God' grace.
I will upload pics of the threaded style! I lasted 2 weeks and could have gone longer but I was bored and missing my hair!

    Hey there!
I'm Lola - a hair obsessed doctor who stumbled into running long distances and baking all the cupcakes.

I blog about life, running and of course, hair! I'm an AltraRunCrew sponsored Athlete and a "RADRabbit" with Rabbit athletic gear, so I will do the occasional running shoe review.
